AGI Inducts New President And Executive Council Colourfully

Colour and bliss, coupled with excitement among captains of industry characterized the investiture of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) President and National Council Members performed by, Her Ladyship Justice Torkornoo, Justice of the Supreme Court, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra.


The Executive Council members are, 
Dr. Humphrey Kwasi Ayim Darke, AGI, President, Mr. Ashok Ramchand Mohinani, Vice President in charge of Large scale, Mrs. Grace Obeng, Vice President in charge of SMEs

Mr. Raphael Mawuenyega Kojo Ayittey, Treasurer, Mr. Mukesh Thakwani, Executive Member, Mrs. Afua Gyamfua Owusu -Ayaw, Executive Member.

In his acceptance speech,

Dr. Humphrey Kwasi Ayim Darke, expressed his sincere gratitude to the to the AGI for the privilege of electing him to the highest office of the association, whilst he acknowledged the pivotal contributions of his predecessors and past executives.

Dr. Humphrey Kwasi Ayim Darke also  reminded the new executive team of the enormity of responsibility and task ahead, indicating that, with a sense of dedication, perseverance and commitment, they will thrive.

To grace the occasions as  was

 Hon. Alan Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry as keynote speaker, who outlined several  government initiatives geared towards the development of the private sector, Hon Charles Adu Boahen, Deputy Minister for Finance.

was also there to represent 

Hon. Ken Ofori -Atta, the Finance Minister, as Special Guest.
